Washington State Parks now manages reservations for the 2026 camping season at Beebe Bridge State Park; reservations open today via the state site, and the park remains under a transition (lasting two years) from Chelan PUD while offering 46 campsites, a boat launch, and shoreline access near Lake Chelan.

According to a new JIM study, tipping habits in Chelan County are shifting as Washington service workers face rising costs and digital prompts with typical tips dropping.

The report shows that local bistros and tasting rooms may feel lower-tip effects (a trend also seen in neighboring states).

Canadian visitors have been declining since Feb.

Today, the city and local Land Trust announced the acquisition of 134 acres in the Wenatchee foothills + the land will receive new management and a new name to support ongoing stewardship efforts.
