- ➤ Trails in the Wenatchee Foothills will reopen April 1 after a winter closure to protect mule deer habitat — visitors are asked to follow posted signs as upgrades continue on select routes. KPQ
- ➤ A Chelan County Sheriff's Sergeant working with Santa's Stars has launched a GoFundMe to cover medical costs for Deputy Zac Moran's son Brooks after he was diagnosed with ATXPC (a rare disorder that causes serious health issues). The fundraiser has raised $34,492 of a $45,000 goal. KPQ
- ➤ Blitz, a two-year-old pup from the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society, is Pet of the Week and ready for outdoor adventures with a family that enjoys hiking and brain games. Interested families can meet him at the shelter (1474 South Wenatchee Avenue, open daily from 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm). KPQ
