  • The Wenatchee Valley Humane Society and Chelan-Douglas Land Trust will host the third annual Pets & People Outdoors Spring Dog Walk at Jacobson's Preserve on Saturday, Apr. 4 at 10 a.m. The event offers dog training tips (including rattlesnake avoidance) plus community vendor booths along local trails.  KPQ
  • Habitat for Humanity is seeking a Wenatchee Valley director and invites qualified applicants to apply — the nonprofit aims to strengthen local housing efforts and will review applications soon.  The Wenatchee World

  • FedEx has announced its upcoming SameDay Local service for Wenatchee Valley shoppers. The new delivery option — in partnership with OneRail — will offer two-hour or end-of-day delivery from local retailers with more details on launch dates and costs coming soon.  KPQ
  • Crisp, a new eatery on N Wenatchee Ave, serves fresh salads and hearty sandwiches for lunch break today, available via online ordering. Open six days from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., it is located next to the former Stan’s Merry Mart (with salads from $11 to $14.70 and $12 sandwiches).  KPQ
