  • Ohme Gardens reopened Tuesday at 9 a.m. after a February wind storm uprooted trees and required helicopters to remove debris; the garden will operate daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Oct. 15 (Chelan County Commissioner Kevin Overbay praised the efforts).  KPQ
  • Wenatchee Valley EMS held a solemn procession through Wenatchee Tuesday to honor Assistant Chief Darin Radcliffe, who died on April 13th after 25 years of fire service. The route ran from Bett’s/Jones & Jones Funeral Home past key fire stations & ended near Sunnyslope fire station, reflecting deep respect for his legacy.  KPQ
