The Apple Blossom Festival will kick off on Apr.

The Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest will offer free firewood permits through a new online e-Permit system starting May 1.

The digital system allows residents to apply anytime to gather between two and 12 cords of firewood — all permits remain free of charge.

Wenatchee AppleSox are adding three new position players from UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, and Hawaii to boost their bid for a WCL title this summer.
