On Tuesday, Chelan County Auditor Skip Moore told commissioners he does not plan to seek reelection next year and may not finish his term because of funding issues — his decision raises the need to address who will handle the role going forward.
The Chelan County PUD is negotiating agreements with Helion, an Everett-based nuclear fusion company+ the deals include securing power and land rights for future fusion projects.
