- ➤ Wenatchee Whiskey Festival will take place Saturday, May 30 at Confluence Technology Center with over 70 whiskies, live music, and food vendors. The event runs from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM (VIP at 5:00 and general admission at 6:30) and bans pets and weapons. KPQ
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ New Wenatchee Valley graduates are using Reverse Networking by connecting with alumni who graduated a year or two ago (for 15-minute career advice calls) to learn how to enter the job market amid tough competition. KPQ
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Officials announced that emergency repairs have begun on the North Cascades Highway after winter damage between Newhalem and Diablo Lake, with crews clearing rockslides—assessing hazards and planning repairs. Work is set to start Monday, May 11, and the highway remains partially open until a full reopening goal for July 3–5. KPQ
