- ➤ Cars Against Bullying will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 17 at the Monitor Hot Rod Cafe (2960 East Street) to raise funds for anti-bullying efforts following a local tragedy. Car show participants pay a $15 entry fee while attendees can enjoy the display and learn about prevention measures. KPQ
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A new website is live in North Central Washington to track wildfires, check burn bans, and provide evacuation alerts in Chelan and Douglas counties. The bilingual site, with the Spanish version launching on May 15, was developed by the Regional Wildfire Working Group plus local agencies ahead of wildfire season. KPQ

- ➤ The Chelan County coroner reported that drug-related accidental deaths dropped to 22 in 2025 from 37 in 2024 — a notable decline from last year. The Wenatchee World
