- ➤ The annual East Wenatchee Bike Rodeo will take place Saturday, May 16 at Eastmont Community Park (look for the KW3 tent) where kids learn bike safety, get free helmets, and compete in timed races. The event aims to prepare young riders for summer biking. KPQ

- ➤ Wenatchee Valley Museum will host a farewell event this Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. with a rummage sale, food trucks & live entertainment, and a groundbreaking ceremony at 11 a.m. will mark the start of its two-year renovation to improve accessibility and modernize exhibits. KPQ

- ➤ Wenatchee Valley College announced its 2026 graduation with nursing pinning on June 11 at Omak’s First Presbyterian Church and ceremonies on June 18 at Town Toyota Center and June 20 at the Omak Performing Arts Center. Derek Sheffield and Shannon Rodman will speak — see local plan. KPQ
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Leapfrog Group released its biannual patient safety report last week. Confluence Health Hospital in Wenatchee earned a C grade for safety while other Washington hospitals received similar ratings for errors, injuries, infections and accidents. KPQ
