Carnival Cruise Line experienced a data breach in April that exposed personal data of more than 5.9 million travelers — including some Wenatchee residents — and is now offering two years of free credit monitoring to affected U.S. customers.

The Eastmont School Board will vote on a proposed $116 million bond to modernize elementary schools including Kenroy, Lee, and Cascade at its meeting on June 8 at 5:30 p.m. Community input has shaped the plan, and a second option may add $8 million for broader district upgrades.

Fewer goldfinches and hummingbirds have been seen as crows dominate local yards, and one homeowner is using a fake dead crow decoy (a Halloween decoration) to deter the birds.
