- ➤ Chelan County is asking residents to nominate Purple Heart recipients from Chelan or Douglas counties for its Hall of Honor — nominations are due by 5 p.m. July 18 and the induction celebration is set for August 7 at Wenatchee Veterans Hall. KPQ
- ➤ An apple-themed play area — splash pad and extra features have officially opened at Wenatchee Riverfront Park, offering a new space for families to enjoy. The Wenatchee World
- ➤ Lilies of the Valley is hosting a free community event today at Town Toyota Center—attendees will repurpose memorial flowers in honor of the Decker sisters and enjoy craft activities that include decorating cups with floral foam, petting goats, and cuddling a grief therapy dog.
