Local investors led by Manson residents Ronan and Gillian Walsh acquired Tsillan Cellars on June 30 in Lake Chelan, including its estate and tasting room in Woodinville.

Today, fire crews reported that the Navarre Fire is 80% contained near Navarre-Coulee Road as the sheriff downgraded evacuation notices from U.S. 97A to Johnson Creek Road after burning 300 acres since it started on July 4.

Crews continued mop-up on Monday morning for the 50-acre Number Two Canyon Fire — evacuations remained for areas in Number One and Number Two Canyons — after the blaze started Sunday at 10:35 a.m. and aircraft attacked in the early afternoon, knocking down the main flames by 1:45 p.m.
