Crews continued mop-up on Monday morning for the 50-acre Number Two Canyon Fire — evacuations remained for areas in Number One and Number Two Canyons — after the blaze started Sunday at 10:35 a.m. and aircraft attacked in the early afternoon, knocking down the main flames by 1:45 p.m.
