- ➤ The Wenatchee Valley Senior Activity Center received a $25,000 grant from Wenatchee Valley Medical Group for a capital improvement project to expand and renovate its facility—efforts that aim to improve services for local seniors. The Wenatchee World
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Washington officials announced $30M in grants to remove fish-blocking culverts and restore salmon and steelhead habitat statewide, including $740,000 allocated to repair barriers in Chelan County. Local grants provided $350,000 on Eagle Creek, and state agencies have removed 63 barriers to open nearly 180 miles of stream access (part of a multi-agency effort to improve river health). KPQ
