- ➤ Wenatchee's Petty Party will be held on August 22 at Ground Control, 10 North Wenatchee Avenue, where residents will share minor grievances about everyday annoyances. The 21+ event will not allow political topics and offers a safe chance for locals to speak their minds. KPQ
- ➤ On September 11th, a food insecurity symposium will be held at the Maguire Center at Wenatchee Valley College from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., where local experts and community leaders will discuss how 14 percent of Chelan County residents lack steady access to nutritious food — and offer solutions that include a $10 registration fee for lunch made with locally grown produce. - ➤ Fabulous Feet Dance Studio won first overall at a national competition in Las Vegas last July—earning 43 awards and boosting their dancers' confidence—and now will perform in local shows including the annual Nutcracker on December 11—14, a spring showcase on May 15—16, and a June recital on June 13.
