Parientes, a new Mexican fast food spot, opened in the old Carl's Jr. location on Grant Road four days ago in East Wenatchee.
Customers praise its rolled tacos (with guacamole, sour cream, lettuce and queso fresco) available via a drive-up window.

NOAA forecasts that fall will be warmer than average from September through November because a super El Niño is gaining strength - this may bring longer dry spells and impact orchard harvests and hiking plans.
The warmer trend could intensify into November.
