- ➤ NCW Libraries and NCW Equity Alliance are hosting a Hispanic Heritage Month trivia series at the George Public Library starting 11 a.m. Saturday—an event that will celebrate Hispanic culture through engaging questions. The Wenatchee World

- ➤ CHELAN COUNTY announced that community organizations, nonprofits, and local groups with ideas to boost tourism can apply for lodging tax funds for 2026—$221,600 is available to support projects that increase visitor activity. - ➤ Confluence Health received gold recognition from the AMA’s Joy in Medicine® program for reducing physician burnout and supporting staff well-being—making it one of only 20 organizations nationwide to earn the award for 2025–2026 after the designation was announced on Sept. 3.
