Good morning, Wenatchee.

A Washington pilot program trained rural nurses — an effort to ease a shortage that the federal Health Resources and Services Administration estimated exceeded 13,000 registered nurses in 2024.

An August report from Pacific Appraisal Associates showed that Wenatchee’s residential sales increased by 18% with most homes selling in the $400K—$600K range and a slightly lower median price than last year.

Active listings were 7% higher than August of last year despite an overall inventory drop from July.
