Good morning, Wenatchee.

A Chelan-based insurance agency announced it is rebranding as Allensure and will soon expand its health, life, disability and group insurance services across the country while keeping its local roots—founder Kelly Allen and daughter Hailey Allen said the new name reflects trust and continuity. The company plans to build on real-life experience from its Chelan beginnings as it broadens its services nationally.

Weekend dances at the Wenatchee Valley Senior Activity Center bring together locals of all ages with live music—a tradition that has lasted over 30 years.

Gov. Locke led the 9/11 Spirit of America Memorial (on Patriot Day) at the Cashmere Riverside Center, where community leaders, legislators, and first responders gathered to honor victims and remember the 2001 attacks.

He called for unity (emphasizing the need to learn from the past) and thanked first responders for keeping the area safe.
