- ➤ The Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center will host de-escalation training on Oct. 14 — it will teach new techniques to help ease conflicts in the local community. The Wenatchee World
- ➤ To mark its 100th anniversary, the Wenatchee Downtown Kiwanis Club is awarding $500 each month to a different local nonprofit organization this year—supporting community groups directly. The Wenatchee World
- ➤ Wenatchee Valley College Foundation will host its fourth annual Food Truck Knight on Sept 19 from 3–8 p.m. at its campus at 1300 Fifth Street—Numerica Credit Union offers free food trucks, live music, a dunk tank with local celebrities, a beer garden, and raffle prizes, and the first 150 children under 12 to visit Numerica’s booth will receive a free ice cream voucher while proceeds support expanding educational access.
