GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Today, the Chelan-Douglas Health District is reviewing finalists to fill four Board of Health seats after closing its application period earlier this week — final interviews will occur later this month before county commissioners make appointments for three-year terms starting in January. KPQ
- ➤ Benjamin Franklin first suggested changing clocks in 1784—an idea that led to daylight saving time. Oklahoma recently passed a bill to stop the clock change, but Washington will set its clocks back on November 2 at 2 a.m. KPQ
