- ➤ Today, the Wenatchee Valley Senior Activity Center announced it will be renamed Foothills Community Center at 1312 Maple Street to better reflect its local role—this follows a renaming contest inspired by a mural from the late William R. Fischer. The Center will begin its rebranding next year to avoid donor confusion during its key autumn fundraising period. KPQ
- ➤ Chelan County Search and Rescue will hold a fundraising banquet—featuring a BBQ dinner, live music, and an auction of local items—to help fund rescue missions at Pybus Market on Nov. 14 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $55 per person or $440 per table. KPQ
