- ➤ Chelan PUD will host the Fall Harvest Roundup at Rocky Reach Dam Park on October 25 from 1 to 4 p.m., where families will trick-or-treat, ride hayrides, and play carnival games. L-Bow the Clown will perform at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. — the Discovery Center will feature a spooky scavenger hunt and hands-on exhibits about clean hydropower. KPQ
- ➤ The Women’s Service League of NCW will host its annual Diaper Drive on Saturday — part of Make A Difference Day. The event will collect needed diapers to support local families. The Wenatchee World

- ➤ The Wenatchee Valley Museum will host a free Day of the Dead celebration on Nov 1 from 4 to 8 p.m.—the event features mariachi music, crafts, food trucks and a community altar where attendees can display photos honoring loved ones. KPQ
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The East Wenatchee Water District closed 15th Street NE between North Devon Avenue and Country Club Drive on Wednesday for a waterline project—drivers should seek alternate routes until work is complete. The Wenatchee World
- ➤ East Wenatchee City Council met Tuesday at Eastmont Junior High to hear 90 minutes of public comments on its Pride banner policy — about 45 community members spoke both in support and opposition. The council tabled the issue and said it will get legal advice and hold a workshop later — planning to review changes with the new budget. KPQ
