- ➤ Washingtonians can now taste Samuel Adams Utopias 2025—a 30% ABV beer available legally across select specialty stores despite its ban in 15 states. The limited-edition drink comes in a hand-numbered ceramic decanter and costs $240 for a 24.5-ounce bottle. KPQ
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A report from the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission and the Department of Commerce warns that the Northwest could face power shortages and rolling blackouts next year if a dry hydropower year overlaps with a long cold snap—extreme weather and rising energy demand may challenge the region's reliable, low-cost hydroelectric supply.
