- ➤ Washington drivers must follow state rules when passing slower vehicles on highways—drivers may pass on the right only when the road has two or more lanes. The state patrol warns that failing to keep right could lead to warnings or tickets. KPQ
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Since 2022, the H5N1 bird flu outbreak has caused over 6.6 million cases nationwide and affected more than 4 million birds in Washington (21 counties affected), driving up poultry prices. A large processing plant near migratory routes reported cases on October 23rd, and the outbreak continues to challenge poultry farmers. KPQ
