The Wenatchee Valley Senior Activity Center received a $25,000 grant from Wenatchee Valley Medical Group for a capital improvement project to expand and renovate its facility—efforts that aim to improve services for local seniors.

Washington officials announced $30M in grants to remove fish-blocking culverts and restore salmon and steelhead habitat statewide, including $740,000 allocated to repair barriers in Chelan County.
